Coron & El Nido Island boat Expedition is an exploration where we do camping, snorkeling,
fishing and village immersion through the remote islands, cays and reefs in some of the world’s most
magnificent places. Our trip take you from Coron to El Nido or vice versa. It is more than the encapsulated experience and it may be
challenging at times. No necessary experience required but a kindred and an
adventurous spirit will make the most out of your adventure.
We bring our kids- Himalaya 8 y/o and Amihan 2 years old with us to our island
trips and we have had families who brought their kids as well. We provide trips

Expedition Departure... Meeting Place & Check-in
Where do I meet the expedition & where do I check-in?
Our office in Coron town will be the meeting and check in place for all our Island Boat Expedition.
All the guests are required to show up at 9AM on the day of departure. A team briefing conducted by the skipper begins- after which will be the time for you to discuss any requests, issues or concerns.
During check-in, you must pay the balance at the office to settle all accounts before boarding the boat. Please bring a copy of your deposit confirmation. It is possible there may not be any electricity to check your confirmation.
If anyone misses the expedition departure we will arrange a local shuttle boat so you can catch up. This costs about 1500 to 3000 php.
What should I bring?
Waterproof pack essentials:
• Sun protection (i.e. hat, sun screen, sunglasses and rash guard).
• Nalgene/ water container
• Toiletries (i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and small hand towel)
• Head lamp
• Second set of clothes and swimwear.
• Protection from insects and mosquitoes (i.e. Lightweight long sleeves shirt and trousers and insect repellant.)
• Thongs, Tevas or reef shoes.
• Camera and a good book
• A lightweight rain jacket
Baggage & Storage
Are there any baggage restrictions?
If your expedition arrival is in El Nido we recommend you pack light although we have no baggage restrictions. We have baggage storage at our shop in Coron if needed dependent upon your arrival port. Laptop and electronics should be stored in a water proof dry bag and hard case containers to protect them .
Can I charge my laptop or Ipod?
We have a battery charging system on board for charging USB plug in devices,. There is no electricity on the Islands so do not expect any charging there. Also, headlamps will be very helpful especially at night, so do not forget to bring them! .

How long is the expedition?
We do 5 day and 4 night expeditions for small groups from 2 to 9 people max. If you have special needs please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our trips are exploratory in nature and team centered, thus we will sit down with our groups and discuss our expedition together. During our trips we avoid the tourist crowds. We take you to places where most travelers don’t go.
Do I need a visa to travel to the Philippines?
For most passports a visa is not required for a stay of up to 21 days. Traveler must be in possession of a passport valid for 6 months beyond stay and a round-trip airline ticket, although, visa requirements vary. Please contact the Philippine Embassy in your country.
Health and Safety
What measures do you provide to ensure my safety?
We have been to the most remote spots in the world. When you are hundreds of miles from the nearest help, in a wild, unpredictable wilderness, health and safety becomes our number one priority.
Janet Belarmino is a certified EMT as well as a CPR and Frist Aid trainer. All our staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. Todd Forney is a certified NEBOSH health and safety consultant.
Our vessel is a strong and seaworthy 57 foot local pump boat which carries a full range of safety equipment including life rafts and life jackets,, GPS system, VHF radio, mobile phones, EPIRB and fire extinguishers. The boat carries one first aid kit and the Skipper holds first aid current certificates. We have designed standard ways of operating the boat to minimize the dangers of injury or accident which you will be briefed on. All our crews are trained to work the standard way and to identify potentially dangerous situations.
The ocean is a big part of our trip so swimming and water sports are natural activities involved. If you are not a strong swimmer or not a swimmer at all, please let us know, so we can make you trip as safe and as comfortable as possible.
affect my trip?
Weather determines where we go, when we do the expedition and if we do any expedition trip at all. We closely monitor the weather at all times and advise our team daily on the forecast.
The dry season October to May is the Northeast monsoon, with predominant northeast trade winds. The wet season June to September is the southwest monsoon with predominant southwest trade winds.
Can I dive the wrecks and reefs around Coron while on the trip?
If you want to do some diving, please let us know beforehand so we can arrange a special package at an additional cost.
What's on the menu?
We cook both Filipino and International dishes. Seafood is a big part of our menu which we buy along theway from the locals. We also serve vegetables and fruits. We have plenty of snacks and treats onboard. We provide drinking water, coffee,hot chocolate, tea and juice. If you are a vegetarian or have any special dietary requirements, please let us know so we can accommodate you.
Where will I sleep?
We provide everyone with their own tent, if preferred. You can sleep out under the stars or on the deck of the boat-weather permitting. Every evening we anchor and set up camp. We provide everyone with a fresh sheets and pillow. If you have any sleeping requirement please let us know beforehand.
Toilet and Shower
Are there toilets and showers on the trip?
Our vessel has a common head (toilet) found on most local pump boats. You will find simple type toilets on the island with a bucket flush. Toilet paper is provided. We provide fresh water bucket showers at camping locations along the way.
Are there alcoholic drinks during the trip?
Our expeditions do not include alcoholic drinks in the price. However, we can purchase beer and spirits for you. Just let us know beforehand so we can accommodate your request. Please feel free to bring along whatever alcoholic drinks you like.
How do I make a Booking?
To confirm your reservation we require a 50%deposit. Please pay by cash, pay pal or Bank Transfer. Please take note International transfers may take up to 5 days to credit our account. Any transfer fees will also be covered by you. Your balance is due before you board the boat.
Cancellations & Refunds
What happens if I cancel my trip?
are only caused by severe weather warning, i.e.; tropical depressions and or
typhoon.Any cancellation due to weather will be rescheduled in the next day/s. We do not refund when we re schedule. If you cancel a trip we will not
remit your 50% deposit if notice given is less than 30 days before your trip is
scheduled to leave. We only issue refund if we cancel the trip. We will not refund any amount if you cancel 3 days before your scheduled departure or during the trip itself.
